I was born in Hawaii but moved to Washington state for college where I fell in love with the Pacific Northwest. I majored in English Literature - once a reader, always a reader - and briefly dabbled in the publishing world before finding my corporate career in Human Resources and Tech Recruiting that took me from Tacoma, Washington to Portland, Oregon.
In the era of the side-hustle, in 2015, I discovered that I loved calligraphy and started my business on Etsy with hand-scripted cards and envelopes.
Where It Began
My hobby started eating up the nights, and weekends, and lunch breaks. By 2017, it was enough to go full time and pursue my stationery business without the 9-5. This happened at the same time my husband and I moved to Chicago for a year of deep dish and a very, very cold winter. We moved back to Seattle in the fall of 2018 where our family and this business continued to grow and the rest is history.
I work with couples all over the world - and on events across the globe. I also work with most of my couples on all of their paper for life's important milestones like baby announcements, baptisms, holidays, anniversaries and birthday parties. Once you fall in love with paper, you never go back.

Paper is a beautiful way to share those details in subtle yet meaningful ways - like a curated set of postage stamps, a wax seal with an important date, a blind pressed pattern to celebrate your heritage. I strive to create stationery that carries your story beyond the wedding day.
I am the keeper of my family's genealogy and every saved wedding invitation, calling card, baby announcement and wedding photo tells a priceless story. There are times when paper may seem fleeting or unnecessary but it can survive to tell your story for centuries.
